Front Wheel Drive

We offer 4 drive types of wheelchair. This refers to where the electric power is delivered from and the pivot point for a chairs turning. Front wheel drive electric wheelchairs are exceptionally nimble as the wheels and power are at the front of the wheelbase. In general this makes them very good for manouvring inddors and climbing obstacles. Some models have gyroscopically controlled steerring which assists in driving in a straight line when driven outdoors at speed. We also supply front wheel, rear wheel and Four wheel drive configurations and our product specialists can advise you on the most appropriate base type for your requriements.
