Our MD Nick and product specialists Gary and Jason recently visited the headquarters of Van Raam to learn more about their exciting special needs bicycles, tricycles and tandems.

Based in Varsseveld, Holland, the modern Van Raam site houses their production, warehousing, research & development, and aftersales operations with much of the production handled in house. With the specialised and bespoke nature of Van Raam bicycles, keeping production on site allows them to adapt quickly. Their cutting-edge manufacturing including 3D printing parts in materials such as plastic, rubber and aluminium to meet the needs of their custom orders.

Cramming so much into a brief 2 day trip, the team were given a guided tour of the factory and operations and then got the chance to test the range of products for themselves. Van Raam products are built with the experience, comfort and security of the rider at the forefront. Getting to take the bicycles, tricycles and various specialised bikes for a spin gives us invaluable insight into how the product is used and we can then pass this knowledge on to our customers.

A very big thank you to Van Raam for hosting us. We’ve proudly worked with Van Raam for over 5years; our team came away from the trip motivated and inspired and we are looking forward to helping bring Van Raam across Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Don’t just take our word for it, we offer demonstration models in our Lisburn and Edinburgh showrooms, allowing you to see for yourself just how good the products are.
