Van Raam Fun2Go Double Rider Handover

Danny our onsite engineer had the pleasure of delivering a Van Raam Fun2Go Double Rider Cycle to Dun Laoghaire near Dublin.

The Van Raam Fun2Go is a robust side-by-side tandem tricycle designed for two adults or taller children to ride. The rider on the right has full control of the steering and brakes, the left side rider control of the pedals. Both riders can pedal and they can communicate well with one another as the seats are next to each other. The riders can get on the bike without having to step through and the seats are length adjusted easily with a lever.

The Fun2Go side by side tandem is extremely manoeuvrable, with two wheels right at the back and a single front steer wheel out front it can be rotated round its own axis.

The double rider cycle is also available with an electric motor. The optional freewheel switch can be turned on or off to determine whether the rider (if mandatory) pedals along.

The optional freewheel hub has three positions:

A function with a continuous movement of the pedal, the co-driver must pedal along.
The pedals of the co-driver move independently of the pedals of the main driver. The pedals run freely and the co-driver cannot cycle.
In this position, the pedals of the co-driver move independently of the pedals of the main driver. The co-driver can cycle along.

Your smartphone also connects with the settings of the e-system and can record cycling data, including speed and distance.
