Description
The Oxford Maxi is a true heavyweight contender with a maximum lift height from the floor of almost 2m. The Maxi can lift patients onto almost all acute and nursing surfaces. Remarkably, the Maxi maintains a relatively compact frame (no larger than the Major 200 in width and length), allowing the hoist to be manoeuvred and stored with relative ease. Each lift is fitted with a spring loaded mechanical lowering device that will only operate under load. The device must be twisted by hand to activate a slow and safe descent. A state-of-the-art, on-board diagnostic tool that provides invaluable operational data for both the user and service engineer. This bespoke system advises the user to schedule key maintenance routines helping to ensure the product is always in optimum condition. The legs are adjustable using the ergonomic foot pedal and lock into position to avoid inadvertent opening. They can be opened to enable access around armchairs, wheelchairs and similar obstacles. Highly durable design that aids manoeuvrability, particularly when transferring a patient.
