The eFOLDi Lite is lightweight, weighing just 14kg(31lbs) without the battery, and 16kg (35lbs) with the battery. It's easy to handle, making it a great choice for daily use.

How much weight can the eFOLDi Lite carry?

The eFOLDi Lite can carry up to 120kg/18st (265lbs), offering plenty of capacity for most users.

What is the maximum speed?

The eFOLDi Lite can reach a top speed of 6km/h (4mph), which is perfect for safe and comfortable travel on most pavements. There is a turn speed controller that automatically reduces the speed down to 3km/h (2mph) for extra safety and during sharp turns.

Is the handlebar height or seat adjustable?

Unfortunately, neither the handlebar nor the seat is adjustable on the eFOLDi Lite. However, the scooter is designed to provide a comfortable ride for most users right out of the box. 

Does the eFOLDi Lite come with keys?

No, the eFOLDi Lite does not require keys for operation.

Where is the battery located?

The battery is conveniently located in the footrest, so it’s easy to access when needed.

How long does the battery take to charge?

It takes up to 5 hours to fully charge the eFOLDi Lite battery. Be sure not to charge for more than 24 hours to maintain battery health.

Should I charge the battery overnight?

We do not recommend leaving any battery charging overnight unsupervised, even though our batteries are among the most reliable and safest on the market.

Can I charge the eFOLDi Lite with the battery left in?

Yes, you can charge the battery while it is still in the scooter using the charging port located at the top of the steering column. Alternatively, the battery can be removed and charged separately.

How far will my eFOLDi Lite go on a full charge?

Under normal, flat, dry conditions, your eFOLDi Lite can travel up to 16km (10 miles) on a full charge. Keep in mind that factors like terrain and weather can affect the range.

Is the eFOLDi Lite suitable for tight spaces?

Yes, the eFOLDi Lite is ideal for tight spaces. Its three-wheel design allows for a smaller turning radius, making it highly manoeuvrable in narrow aisles and confined areas. Combined with its lightweight construction, the eFOLDi Lite offers excellent agility and ease of control, perfect for indoor environments and spaces where space is limited.

What sort of braking system does the eFOLDi Lite have?

The eFOLDi Lite features a magnetic braking system linked to the throttle. As you release the throttle, the brake is gradually engaged, giving you smooth and controlled stops. You can also release the magnetic brake if you need to freewheel at any time.

Is the eFOLDi Lite safe when turning?

Yes, the eFOLDi Lite is designed with safety in mind. It features a turn speed reducer that automatically reduces the scooter's speed by 50% if the user applies a turn greater than 20 degrees to the steering column. This ensures a smoother, more controlled turn, enhancing stability and safety during use.

Can I take my eFOLDi Lite on an aeroplane?

Yes, the eFOLDi Lite and its battery are fully airlinecompliant! Just be sure to check with your airline before travelling, as each airline may have specific guidelines for mobility devices and requirements for travelling.

Do I need to register my eFOLDi Lite with the DVLA? (UK only)

No, the eFOLDi Lite is classified as a Class 2 mobility device (pavement scooter), so it doesn't require DVLA
registration. 

Can I use the travel cover with the armrests fitted?

Unfortunately, the travel cover will not fit when the armrests are added.

Can I replace the solid no-pump tyres with pneumatic tyres?

 Yes, pneumatic tyres can be ordered and fitted retrospectively (chargeable)

Will I need to pump up the tyres of my eFOLDi Lite?

No, the eFOLDi Lite features solid tyres, so there’s no need to worry about punctures or inflation. However, if you choose to have pneumatic tyres fitted, they will require pumping and inner tube replacement for puncture repair.

What tyre pressure do I need?

For a smooth and comfortable ride, inflate the rear tyres to 35PSI. The eFOLDi Lite has a solid front tyre, so no need to worry about air pressure there!

What size inner tubes will I need if I get a puncture?

If you ever need to replace the inner tube, you’ll need a 10" x 2" size for the rear tyres.

How do I remove the rear wheels?

Removing the rear wheels is simple! Just press the button in the centre of each wheel, and it will release from the frame for easy removal
