The Movu is an innovative three-wheel walking aid designed for people who want extra stability and support while walking without the traditional look or feel of a conventional rollator.

Developed in Norway, Movu encourages a more upright and natural walking posture through its distinctive ergonomic steering handle, while a large front wheel helps the user move more easily over kerbs, gravel, cobblestones, snow and other uneven surfaces.

A practical fold-out seat provides somewhere to rest whenever needed, while the folding rear wheels allow the Movu to become much narrower for transport and storage. With a low weight of just 7.3 kg without bags and seat, adjustable handle height and up to 110 kg maximum user weight, the Movu offers an appealing combination of stability, manoeuvrability and modern design.

Designed for More Upright Walking

A key feature of the Movu is its ergonomic handle. Rather than encouraging the user to lean heavily forward over a traditional walking frame, the Movu is designed to provide support while helping the user maintain a more upright posture.

The handle can be adjusted between approximately 950 mm and 1070 mm, allowing it to be set according to the user's height and preferred walking position. This ergonomic design helps provide natural support for the wrists and shoulders while reducing unnecessary strain on the body.

Large 320 mm Front Wheel

The large front wheel is one of the Movu's most distinctive features. At approximately 320 mm in diameter, it is substantially larger than the front castors found on many conventional rollators.

This larger wheel is designed to make it easier to negotiate:

User's can gently pull on the steering handle, allowing the front wheel to roll over obstacles rather than requiring the aid to be lifted.

Intuitive Steering

The Movu uses a central ergonomic steering handle rather than two conventional rollator handles. This provides straightforward directional control and allows the user to steer naturally helping to create a smoother and more intuitive walking experience, especially when changing direction or negotiating everyday obstacles.

One-Handed Rear Brake

The Movu features a powerful one-handed brake system that acts on both rear wheels simultaneously. Only one hand is required to operate the brake, making it particularly convenient for users who prefer or need to keep one hand free and  provides useful control on hills and when reacting to unexpected obstacles.

Fold-Out Seat

A practical folding seat is integrated into the Movu. When the user needs a break, the seat can be unfolded to provide a temporary resting place. Once the user is ready to continue, it can be folded away again without significantly compromising the walking space. This makes the Movu especially useful for longer outings where a bench or other suitable seat may not always be available.

The seat is not designed to be used while pushing the Movu, it is intended for stationary use only.

Lightweight Construction

The Movu weighs approximately 7.3 kg without bags and seat and approximately 8.4 kg with bags and seat fitted.

This relatively low weight helps make the product easier to manage when lifting it into a suitable vehicle or carrying it over short distances.

Compact Folding for Transport

The rear wheels can be folded inward to make the Movu considerably narrower.

When folded, the manufacturer lists the dimensions as approximately:

One of the strongest transport features is the folded width. At only approximately 330 mm, the Movu becomes much slimmer than its 690 mm operating width.

The Movu has a manufacturer-stated maximum user weight of 110 kg, equivalent to approximately 17.3 stone. The maximum user weight should not be exceeded.

Movu has a low centre of gravity, helping to provide additional stability. There is also generous clearance between the rear wheels, allowing the user to walk naturally without their feet repeatedly contacting the frame or wheels.
