Merits Ultra: Compact Mid-Wheel Drive for Enhanced Stability and Versatility. The Ultra from Merits is a compact, mid-wheel drive power wheelchair designed for exceptional stability and durability. With a six-wheel-on-the-ground configuration and 356 mm x 76 mm drive wheels, it supports a weight capacity of 136.1 kilograms. The wheelchair features a low seat-to-floor height of 419 mm for better accessibility and offers three seating systems to meet various user anatomies and clinical needs. An optional 304.8 mm seat elevation feature is also available, providing enhanced mobility and independence. 

Additionally, the Ultra includes 0° – 50° posterior center of gravity tilt and a 90° – 110° shear reduction recline for effective pressure redistribution and postural management. It boasts a tension-adjustable front and rear suspension for a comfortable ride and customizable seating dimensions, with an adjustable width and depth from 406.4 mm to 558.8 mm. Its compact 609.6 mm base width enhances maneuverability, and it offers an impressive range of up to 30.6 km per charge, making it suitable for various daily activities at home or in the community.
