Description
DiGi Project F130 Fixed Wall-Mounted Pool Lift
The DiGi Project F130 is a specialist fixed swimming pool lift developed for situations where conventional poolside installation presents practical challenges. Rather than requiring a floor-mounted base or foundation, the F130 uses a wall-mounted swing-out structure.
This allows the lift to be anchored directly to a suitable perimeter or load-bearing wall, eliminating the need to create a foundation in the pool surround. This installation method makes the F130 particularly suited for raised pools and confined environments, where available poolside space or construction constraints may make other types of pool lift unsuitable.
Wall-Mounted Design
The defining feature of the F130 is its wall-mounted installation; fitted to a load-bearing wall constructed from stone or with a thickness greater than 25cm.
This means installation suitability should always be properly assessed before ordering and the hoist should be fitted and maintained by an appropriate technician.
No Floor Foundation Required
Because the F130 is supported by its wall-mounted structure, it eliminates the need for a floor foundation. This is a particularly important advantage where alterations to the surrounding pool floor would be difficult or undesirable.
Ideal for Raised Therapeutic Pools
The F130 is particularly suitable for:
- Raised therapeutic pools
- Masonry pools
- Whirlpools
- Mud therapy facilities
- Confined spaces
This gives the F130 a much more specialised market position than a generic swimming pool lift.
Choice of Seat or Sling
The F130 can be equipped with either Seat + wheels or Sling. This gives the product flexibility around different user and transfer requirements.
160° Rotation
The F130 provides: 160° rotation The rotating structure allows the user to be transferred between the poolside and water while the lift remains securely attached to its wall mounting.
140kg Maximum User Capacity
The F130 has a maximum lifting capacity of 140kg / approximately 22 stone
This maximum capacity should not be exceeded.
Fast 20-Second Lift Cycle
The manufacturer's technical data specifies a lowering/lifting time under load of approximately: 20 seconds. This is considerably quicker than the 45-second figure published for the INPOOL, making cycle speed another useful point of differentiation between the two products.
1365mm Maximum Travel
The F130 provides a maximum travel of 1365mm This allows the lifting mechanism to accommodate the substantial vertical movement required when transferring a user between poolside and the water.
2-Point Safety Belt
The F130 incorporates a 2-point safety belt for a secure and controlled moving process. As with any specialist transfer equipment, the appropriate seating, restraint and transfer arrangement should be determined according to the individual user's requirements.
Simple Push-Button Controls
The F130 uses an IPX06 spiral-cable push-button panel for straightforward up/down operation and can be operated from the water. This provides simple operation without unnecessarily complicated controls.
Emergency Stop
An emergency stop button is incorporated into the F130's standard specification.
Removable 24V Battery
The F130 is powered by a 24V removable battery and is supplied with a charger. The removable arrangement provides a practical way to charge the battery away from the lift.
Approximately 50 Working Cycles
DiGi Project specifies average battery autonomy of approximately 50 working cycles between charges.
Actual operating performance may depend on factors such as load, battery condition and operating environment.
Suitable Construction for Pool Environments
The F130 incorporates protective treatments and materials designed for use around swimming pools.
- Galvanising treatment
- Powder coating
- Stainless steel frame for parts entering the water
These features are important for equipment intended to operate repeatedly in a pool environment.
