The Quokka wheelchair bags were created by Ingeborg Meurkens, mother of two, who was diagnosed with MS at the age of 30.

Ingeborg found is uncomfortable to keep her bag on her lap and unsafe to have it on the back of her wheelchair.

To her surprise there were no bags suitable for wheelchair users and took this opportunity to create her own range and invent the first practical wheelchair bag.
