A lot of mobility scooters are limited in their weight capacity in order to keep the overall scooter weight & size down; this means looking for a more robust and suitable alternative such as a road scooter. 

Xplorer Cabin Car Mobility Scooter

With a 22" seat and a SWL of 31st, the Xplorer is a fully enclosed mobility scooter that allows you to get out and about regardless of the weather. With a range of up to 20 miles and a top speed of 8 mph, the Xplorer is built for the long haul. Its spacious cabin includes car-style doors with sliding windows, ensuring easy access and ventilation. Inside, you’ll find convenient controls for the windscreen wiper and heater, keeping you comfortable and safe, whatever the season. 

TGA Breeze S4 Mobility Scooter

The TGA Breeze S4 is an 8 MPH Class III Mobility Scooter built for on and off road. It is available with a host of options and comes with all the style and reliability you would expect from TGA.  With a safe working load of 200kg (31.4 stone), it has a range of 30 miles with the larger battery upgrade option. Opting for a road scooter ensures a better fitting seat with easier access for getting on and off.

If you want the freedom of a scooter but want something more compact or not necessarily require road access, check out a bariatric powerchair or electric wheelchair. Manual Wheelchairs

Having a folding manual wheelchair is a useful option for days out, travel, attending appointments or general out and about. Our range of bariatric manual chairs have attendant controls and self-propelled wheel grips, depending on the needs of the user and can be easily folded for storage or transport.

Evoke 2 HD Self Propelled Wheelchair

The Evoke 2 HD is designed for the larger user who wants a lightweight, highly adjustable manual wheelchair. Swing-in / out, height adjustable and removable foot rests facilitates user transfers and allows optimal positioning for the changing needs. Mobilex Buffalo Bariatric Rollator

The Mobilex Buffalo has a specially designed frame made from aluminium, with a reinforced cross brace making it one of the strongest rollators on the market today. Very strong but also lightweight at just 7.9Kgs and still offers a high degree of stability and ease of movemen, suitable for users up to 200kg/31st!

Days Bariatric Rollator

Manufactured in a heavier gauge steel tubing than standard rollators and with an extra wide padded seat, this heavy duty rollator conveniently folds for storage and transportation and easily accessible loop lockable brakes and a basket for personal belongings. Available in 28st and 50st capacity versions.
