The Samarit Curved Glideboard is the original and best selling banana shaped transferboard manufactured to a very high standard and ideal for transfers between wheelchairs, chairs, beds and cars. The shape is design patent protected. Acid resistant, easy to clean and to disinfect. A specifically developed anti-slide adhesive pads on the rear of the board ensures the positioning on the bed, wheelchair, etc.

Best value transfer board

I have used the same original Samarit banana board for over 20 years and it still works perfectly - but I now need a second one to keep in my car. It's not as cheap as a wooden transfer board but I don't get splinters from the Samarit one and its way cheaper than other brands of transfer boards even at todays price! Full marks to John Preston Healthcare for great service - cheapest price and delivered within 48 hours !
