We are delighted with our recent delivery of three MT Push trikes and one self propelled Mountain Trike to the Giants Causeway. These wheelchairs are now available to the public and will enable visitors to explore all different terrains along the famous causeway. 

The Mountain Trike

The Mountain trike is an all terrain self propelled wheelchair. It is an ideal wheelchair for every day use and the unique lever drive system means that that the user can steer and drive the Trike with only one arm, leaving a spare hand for using the phone, walking the dog or even holding a coffee. The steering gives excellent control for smooth turns and an easy ride across slopes allows the users to have clean, dry hands whatever the weather. If the users circumstances change and they find it difficult to self propel it is possible to convert the Mountain Trike to a MT Push or to an eTrike or ePush.

The MT Push

The MT Push has all the same features and rugged good looks of the lever drive Mountain Trike, but without the need to self-propel. The MT Push comes with a built-in push handle so you can be pushed in style. Users find it ideal for country walks with family and friends, city breaks, strolls along the beach and even muddy music festivals. The MT Push is the perfect partnership for both the rider and person pushing , it provides comfort, safety and ease of use - so everyone can have fun exploring. If at any point the users circumstances change, it is also possible to convert the MT Push to the lever drive Mountain Trike giving the user the option to self propel.
