Quantum Rehab are the market leaders in Mid Wheel Drive Bariatric Powerchairs.   The latest addition to the range, the Quantum Q6 Edge HD is a powerful mid wheel drive powerchair designed for users up to 32 stone.  The Q6 Edge HD can be equipped with a choice of seating systems including Pride's Synergy Seating and Tru Comfort range with seat widths from 14" up to 26" whilst retaining a compact turning circle of just over 50 cm.   The Edge HD features Pride's mid-wheel 6® drive design which together with the ATX Suspension system ensure the Edge HD performs as well outdoors as it does indoors.   The 4 pole, torque responsive motors give maximum power when its needed to tackle inclines and for getting over thresholds. 

The Q6 Edge HD can be equipped with TRU-Balance 2 HD Power Tilt a Bariatric powered tilt that can accept up to 32 Stone 2lbs at 45 degrees. TRU-Balance® HD Power Tilt, offers pressure relief, and similar functionality and versatility, to the TRU-Balance® Power Tilt. A wide range of accessories is available to customise the Edge HD to your requirements; these include a full complement of Stealth accessories such as laterals, headrests, foot troughs, head controls and so on.  You can also choose from a range of foot supports including swing away, powered elevating, central footplate.
