It has a spring assisted lift mechanism, operated by pressing the lever to the side, and a locking hand wheel to keep it in place - which can even be used with just one hand. It can be used on either the right or left side of the bed, as the table top is reversible. This overbed table also features a handy storage compartment under the top of the side table. The top opens up so that pens, notepads, electronics, or other personal items can be stored, keeping them tidily away but always within reach.
