Living with MS event a great success

The Living with MS event held on Saturday past was organised by the MS Society Northern Ireland and was a terrific success. It was very well attended and the speakers were well received by everyone we were chatting to.
The MS Society are there for you to provide support and information, invest in MS specialists and campaign on your behalf.

- Tintern Riser Porter chair
This specialist chair is easily moved on its wheels and is a riser / recliner chair with the option of single or dual tilt in space control. This gives you freedom to have the seat exactly as you need it - plus it is very comfortable.
It has a 25 stone weight capacity and given it can be used as a portering chair it is very popular with carers throughout Northern Ireland.

- Youbike training device
The YouBike is the world's first cardiovascular exercise bike which has been specifically designed to be used on a bed. It is multi-purpose and can also be used on the floor without the use of the wheelchair.
The hand cranks are connected to the foot cranks via a direct drive belt, enabling the arms to exercise the legs in a cyclic manner.
YouBike can be used to treat the followng conditions:
